Woodland Winter Workshop

Time to start some Holiday Crafting?
I will be offering this workshop to a few enthusiastic crafters on November 25th.  Join me to create this Festive Reverse Burlap Panel.  Working with Sizzix die cuts, we will layer and create a Woodland Winter scene.  Distress this rugged panel so that you can display during the holidays or gift away.  Learn some techniques to create on future projects.

If you would like to join me click the Calendar for class details and to reserve your spot.  Click on the class description and scroll through the details.  Sign up is at the bottom.

There are a limited number of spaces available.  I am considering a day and night workshop if I have enough interest.
There will also be an Emerald Creek Craft mini Pop Up Store providing a limited amount of supplies we will use in the class for your shopping convenience.

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

Simply Spring

Just a simple card with stuff I had laying around or partially started.  What could be more easy than that.  Sometimes you just have to dig through your stuff.  Click the links below to see what I used.

You are the best... using Ranger's new Letter It stamps.

A little mixed media die cutting.

I went all inky then added a coat of clear rock candy distress glitter.  If only the shimmer came through.

Love these flowers.

A grungy little edge.

This is a simple little card with a couple of easy techniques.  We have so much snow so I guess I just need some cheery spring.

Watercoloring with Butterflies & Oxides

The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing tutorials all month long.  I do have a video tutorial for this card but it won't be read for awhile.  Hey, it happens.  I at least have a couple of photo's until the whole video is posted on Creative Scrapbooker Magazines website.

Loving the new Oxide inks especially as we approach those soft easter pallets.

A little stamping.

I know it's not a box or cool journal.  One of my favourite dies is the Birds & Butterflies thinlit.  Yep, there are pretty little dies perfect for card making too.

I love the intricate butterfly to layer over.

A simple card and no it's not even a journal.

I will share the video when it's all done and posted.  I will even embed it in the post too.
Onto next month...
