EEK... Halloween is coming and all things spooky!

There's a fun team up this week with Xyron and ClearSnapI got a little yummy box of Premium Dye Mini Ink Pads and to my delight there was Carrot and Coal in there.

I used the Carrot Premium Dye Mini Ink Pads ink and blended, blended and more blending.  BAM... Now that's a rich orange.  I hauled out my Stamp Platform for precision!  I wasn't about to the ruin this inky masterpiece!

In July I was in LasVegas so of course I had to go to Viva Las Vegas Stamps where I found lots and lots... and lots of yummy stamps including the Tree Writing Collage.  I cut my "Wicked Halloween", perfect for the Sticker Maker.

PHEW... the carrot ink is so dynamic all I did was one layer.  Check out the detail of how the of the stamped image in Coal pops off the Carrot background!  The sentiments are die cut with some scrap paper and against the coal black... I love it!

Make sure you check out what's going on all week with Xyron and ClearSnapThere's a lot of Fall/ Halloween inspiration.  Or how I like to call it... FALL-O-WEEN.

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

Simply Spring

Just a simple card with stuff I had laying around or partially started.  What could be more easy than that.  Sometimes you just have to dig through your stuff.  Click the links below to see what I used.

You are the best... using Ranger's new Letter It stamps.

A little mixed media die cutting.

I went all inky then added a coat of clear rock candy distress glitter.  If only the shimmer came through.

Love these flowers.

A grungy little edge.

This is a simple little card with a couple of easy techniques.  We have so much snow so I guess I just need some cheery spring.

Watercoloring with Butterflies & Oxides

The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing tutorials all month long.  I do have a video tutorial for this card but it won't be read for awhile.  Hey, it happens.  I at least have a couple of photo's until the whole video is posted on Creative Scrapbooker Magazines website.

Loving the new Oxide inks especially as we approach those soft easter pallets.

A little stamping.

I know it's not a box or cool journal.  One of my favourite dies is the Birds & Butterflies thinlit.  Yep, there are pretty little dies perfect for card making too.

I love the intricate butterfly to layer over.

A simple card and no it's not even a journal.

I will share the video when it's all done and posted.  I will even embed it in the post too.
Onto next month...
